The Service
CanvasGenie is an AI art print store. We generate artwork from your words or your photo, print it, and ship it to you. By using CanvasGenie, you agree to these terms.
You must be 18 or older to use the service.
Photos You Upload
By uploading a photo, you promise that you are 18 or older and have the right to use it, including permission from everyone shown. A parent or guardian may give permission for a child. If you cannot make that promise, do not upload the photo.
Prohibited Content
Do not create, upload, or order artwork that contains:
- Sexual or explicit content, or content that sexualises a minor.
- Violence or gore, or hate content.
- Sexual or explicit content involving a real person without that person's consent.
- Deepfakes or manipulated images of real people that could mislead others.
- Sexualised images of public figures.
- Material that impersonates or defames a real person.
- Material that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
- An image of anyone who has not agreed to be depicted in artwork that will be printed and sold.
Art Styles
Some styles are inspired by living artists or studios. If your result resembles someone else's work, that resemblance is incidental. You accept the result as yours to keep.
Artwork Rights
As between you and CanvasGenie, you own the artwork you generate, including the right to print it, sell it, and have it reprinted. We keep the rights needed to run the site, store and reproduce the image, fulfil your order, and show the artwork back to you. We do not use your photo or finished artwork to train AI models.
Requests We Cannot Fulfil
We may decline a request or order, or delete artwork that breaks these terms. We may remove artwork after it has been generated.
Orders, Shipping, and Returns
Order processing, shipping, and returns are covered by our Shipping and Returns Policy.
Artwork Quality
Artwork is generated by an AI model. It will not be a photographic copy of your photo. Small differences in likeness, colour, and detail are part of the product. We generate artwork at high resolution and upscale it for print. If an order arrives damaged or misprinted, we will fix it under the returns policy.
Child Safety
Content that sexualises a minor is not allowed. We screen uploaded photos before generating artwork and report apparent child sexual abuse material to the required authorities.
Warranty
The service and artwork are provided without warranties beyond those required by the consumer law that applies where you buy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use of CanvasGenie after an update means you accept the revised terms.
